The talk, by Annie Kissack RBV, will be about the intersections of song and written word with regard to Manx faery lore, and how it’s been interpreted by various writers and musicians, over the years. There will be selections and reflections on music, poems and stories, and ways in which they link and feed into each other. Not an academic talk, but as Annie confesses to be somewhat obsessed with these things, and totally enthusiastic, it will definitely be entertaining! Open to all, but places are limited, so arrive early to guarantee a seat - doors open at 7pm. The talk is free - though donations from non-members will be welcomed.
